  • Your mobile number is used to sign in and to verify your account, so it must be a number you own or control.

4. Agreements between users

Bundo is a tool to set up, record and track loans between people who know and trust each other. Bundo is not a lender, bank or broker, does not lend money and is not a party to any loan made through the Service. A loan is between the two users.

An agreement is approved only after both people accept the same terms. Each person is responsible for the terms they propose or accept, including the amount, any thank-you tip, the dates and any late fee.

5. Payments, fees and thank-you tips

Bundo does not hold or transfer the money of a loan. The borrower pays the lender directly. Payments are reported in the app: when one person reports a payment, the other person confirms it, and Bundo records it in the agreement history. Report payments honestly, and only when they really happened.

Fees. Lenders do not pay Bundo anything. The borrower pays Bundo a service fee each time a payment is made: 1% of the payment, with a minimum of $3.00. The fee is charged to the credit card the borrower adds in the app. It goes to Bundo, not to the lender, and it is not part of the loan. The current fees are always listed on our Fees page. If our fees change, we will tell you in the app before the new fees apply.

A thank-you tip is an optional amount the borrower agrees to give the lender as a thank-you. It is part of the terms both people accept. Bundo does not set it.

6. Late payments

Reminders, any grace period and any late fee are whatever the two people agreed in their agreement. Bundo keeps a record of due dates and of payments made or missed, which both people can see.

Bundo does not collect debts. Disputes about a loan are between the two users.

7. Acceptable use

When you use the Service, you agree not to:

  • use it for anything illegal, including fraud or money laundering;
  • harass, threaten or mislead other users;
  • send agreement or contact requests to people who do not know you;
  • try to hack, overload or interfere with the Service, or access accounts or data that are not yours.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, Bundo is not responsible for losses caused by other users, including loans that are not repaid. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts other users at risk, is used for fraud or illegal activity, or when the law requires it.

You can close your account at any time by writing to team@bundo.me.

When an account is closed, the records of the loans it took part in are kept as a record for the other person on each loan.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
